About Us

I am a recovering critical, cowardly Pharisee.  For over two decades I have remained in the shadows with a hard, critical spirit toward Christ’s Church in America.  During that time, I have fasted and prayed that our Lord would revive and set ablaze His Church in America…only to find myself shaking my fist at God for not responding (as I thought He should) to my prayers.

Over the past few years, the Spirit of God has exposed my critical, cowardly, legalistic heart and brought me afresh Home to the Cross of our Savior.  He has refreshed and revitalized my soul through repentant, believing faith.  It has been only His extraordinary work of grace in me through His Spirit.

The Lord is calling His Bride to that same destination.  So, after 20 years of pastoral ministry, I am transitioning out of the pastorate to become a full-time evangelist calling the One Church to revival through revival prayer, revival preaching, and evangelism.

A few details:

  • The Lord drew me to Himself on June 29, 1979.
  • I married my beautiful bride in May, 1975.
  • We have two sons (one married) and two grandchildren.
  • I taught 13 years in public and Christian elementary schools.
  • We spent 2 years on staff with the Navigators in the late 1980′s
  • I have a Masters of Divinity from Columbia International University in Columbia, SC (2003).
  • I am an ordained pastor in the Presbyterian Church in America (2004).
  • I am completing 9 years as assistant pastor at Chapin Presbyterian Church.
  • I am currently a Candidate Evangelist with Presbyterian Evangelistic Fellowship (PEF).
  • I am legally blind due to retinitis pigmentosa–I have less than 10 degrees of central vision

Special thanks to Doug Foreman for our ministry logo.

    Tim and Debbie,

I can’t express to you how very excited I am that God has so clearly chosen you two to lead a call to revival among all churches and all individuals who are in God’s true family here in Columbia, SC! I believe it was 5 years ago that I began praying that God would revive me and all true followers of our GREAT ALL-TRANSCENDING CREATOR GOD and our ALL- GRACIOUS MERCIFUL SAVIOR JESUS and our COMFORTER who is also our HELPER WHO ANOINTS us with FIRE FROM ABOVE. This third person of the TRINITY also enables us mere humans (who when weighed all together are less than vapor) to actually exalt THE NAME WHICH IS ABOVE ALL NAMES while at the same time performing works greater than those which we could accomplish were CHRIST living here on earth still today. Hard to believe, isn’t it? I mean that Jesus willingly gave up all His accustomed to and well deserved glory AND humbled Himself in obedience to His Father even to the point of death, even the death on the CROSS AND then returned HOME to Heaven to remain and intercede for us AND then sent THE PROMISED ONE WHO WOULD COME ALONG SIDE us to EMPOWER us TO DO THESE GREATER WORKS on earth. Amazing!, that GOD, THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS would choose to use the likes of us who when all weighed together are lighter than vapor!

May the ONE TRUE TRIUNE GOD, WHO ALONE is GOD, grant us the humility and grace to submit in complete trust and undivided obedience to JESUS (as did CHRIST HIMSELF to His Own Loving Father). OUR SAVIOR who is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE and THE ONLY WAY TO THE FATHER chose willingly “NOT TO PLEASE HIMSELF” but to bear “the reproach” of those who REPROACHED HIS FATHER. Now we may choose to follow CHRIST’S lead “not to please (our)selves”, but to “please (our) neighbor for his good, leading to edification” and may be granted by the “God of patience and comfort” . . . “to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that (we) may with one mind and mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 15)

TO GOD ALONE BE THE GLORY NOW AND FOREVER!!!

Tim and Debbie, Continue to Trust God and Pray Often. I will certainly do the same and will not forget to pray often for you.

    Tim and Debbie,
Happy 4th of July! I trust you are celebrating with your wonderful family and spoiling and loving on those beautiful grandkids! You were both brought to mind very vividly in my prayers this morning as I was praying for our nation on its 237th birthday. I along with so many are troubled even as we celebrate — to watch media reports re: events in our country — well is downright overwhelming at times! Thank you both for staying true to God’s leading even as it might take you out of your comfort zone! Our country needs a wake up call to return to God’s principles and needs many servants just like you two! Praying His blessings on your ministry and will do so going forward. Take care and try to stay dry today!
    Love, Debbie

Tim & Debbie: We praise the Lord with you for being obedient to your true calling. The only way we all can turn this church “attendance” around is to set our churches Ablaze for Jesus! Your posts on Kay’s Caring Bridge site probably should have tipped us off. They were filled with encouragement and a burning passion for the Lord. You can count on us to be praying for His ministry thru you two and occassional support as He provides. I am going to plant some seeds with the staff encouraging Cornerstone to be one of the first to invite Tim Hanley, Evangelist to speak. God Bless!! Chuck & Kay
